The Active Start Lunar Camp is a festive Chinese New Year – themed holiday camp designed to keep children active, curious, and engaged through a perfect mix of science, robotics, crafts, culture, and movement.
Across the week, children explore hands-on science experiments inspired by prosperity, colour, density, slime, fireworks, and optical illusions. They also build and code CNY-themed robots such as lucky spinner robots, red packet delivery bots, firecracker launchers, and fortune teller robots.
Cultural traditions come alive through Chinese New Year crafts and games — from lantern art, dragon masks, paper cutting, and wishing trees to lion dance movement play, drumming games, fortune tosses, and carnival-style stations.
To balance learning with energy, each day includes active games and fitness challenges like dragon tail chase, obstacle courses, relays, dance challenges, and team games — keeping kids moving, confident, and social.

Newtonshow’s CNY Camp Details
The Chinese Holiday Camp 2026 is great for boys and girls aged 3 – 12. Your kiddo can join the CNY Camp 2026 from 1 to 28 February. The holiday camp for kids is open from Monday to Friday (9AM to 4PM).
The CNY camp’s price is HK$800 for one day (HK$3999 for five days). It includes all holiday camp activities and materials needed for them, two snacks and a lunch, as well as a water bottle, a T-shirt and cap, and a certificate.

What are camp hours and when does my child need to arrive?
Newtonshow camps run from 9 am to 4 pm from Monday to Friday. Lunchtime at 1 PM.
You can drop off from 8:30 to 9 AM.
What do I need to bring to the camp?
No uniform is needed in our camps. Make sure your child wears comfortable clothes and has a water bottle.
All activity and lesson materials will be provided.
